Answers to the most frequently asked questions about Kinside's services, accessing your account and how to use app features.

How do I sign up for Kinside?

Sign up for your Kinside account by clicking Activate Your Membership here. Make sure you use your company email address to create your account. Once your account is created, you must confirm your email address in order to access your account. To do this, check your email for a message from notifications@kinside.com with the subject line, “Welcome! Confirm your Kinside account,” and click the Confirm your email now button.

I can’t find my confirmation email. What do I do?

Check your spam folder for a message from notifications@kinside.com with the subject line, “Welcome! Confirm your Kinside account.” If you’re still unable to locate the message, please add notifications@kinside.com to your email contacts. Then, reach out via the chat box at the bottom right of the app window or email us at concierge@kinside.com to have the message resent.

My Kinside account has been created. Now where do I log in?

Login to your Kinside account by visiting www.kinside.com/parents and clicking the Sign In button on the top right corner, or by going to www.kinside.com/login and entering your email address and password.

What if I forgot my password?

Not a problem. You can reset your password through these simple steps:

  • Go to www.kinside.com/login and click Forgot password? at the bottom of the sign in page
  • Enter your email address and click send me reset instructions
  • Check your email for a message from

    notifications@kinside.com with the subject line, “Reset password instructions.” Can’t find the email? Check your spam or promotions folder.

What can I use Kinside for? 

  • Search for child care in your area, books tours and enroll with a new provider
  • Concierge matching with daycares and preschools that work for your schedule, philosophy, budget and location (Premium access)
  • Exclusive pre-negotiated rates on care and extra benefits like tips on how to use your DCFSA account
  • On demand tips to help you find the right provider and run your child care search

How can I find out more about a daycare or preschool?

Looking for additional info on availability, pricing, pedagogy, schedule or something else? You can message the provider via Kinside or contact the provider directly.

How do I create a list of favorites?

Interested in curating a list of daycares you like, or favoriting your current provider to easily send them a payment? In a provider’s profile, click the save button with the heart icon on the top right side of the screen to add the provider to your favorites list. 

On desktop: to view your list of  favorites, click the Find child care button at the top of the app or the Kinside logo in the upper left hand corner. Next, navigate to the upper right hand corner of the app and click the Saved link with the heart icon. Your list of favorites will display on the left hand side of the screen.

On mobile:  to view your list of favorites, click Find at the bottom of the app or the Kinside logo in the upper left hand corner. Next, click the Saved link with the heart icon in the top right corner. A view list button will appear in the lower left corner of the screen. Click the button to view your favorites. To navigate back to the map, click the View map button in the lower left corner.

I want to set up a tour, but the daycare or preschool I’m interested in doesn’t appear to have tour times set up, what can I do?

You can send the provider a message to ask about availability, pricing, and booking a tour!

What if I can’t find what I’m looking for?

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Contact Concierge by emailing concierge@kinside.com or by using the chat box at the bottom right of the app window. Your Concierge can help answer questions or perform a custom search based on your needs and preferences.  

How can I contact the Kinside Concierge for help?

The Kinside Concierge is available inside the Kinside app using the chat box at the bottom right of the app window. You can also reach a Concierge via email by emailing concierge@kinside.com.

What sort of questions can I direct at Kinside’s Concierge team?

Consider your Kinside Concierge your child care advocate. They can help you reach out to daycares or preschools that we aren’t yet partnered with, arrange tours, assist with a preschool’s waitlist, help you find a spot several months away, answer questions about pedagogies, Covid-19 safety, licenses and more. 

I have a need for a unique part-time spot, can you help?

While we specialize in helping parents enroll in full-time care at daycares and preschools, we’re able to assist with the legwork of finding the best care providers for your child care needs including part-time, overnight, non-traditional work schedules, before and after-school programs and summer, school vacation and no-school day care.
